A personal health crisis became a professional mission.
AJ founded ACC Building Performance after experiencing firsthand how building deficiencies, HVAC failures, and hidden mold can impact a person’s health.
After healing from years of health challenges caused by mold, AJ launched ACCBP in 2022 to help others identify the root causes of unhealthy homes and buildings and create safer, healthier places to live.

Why it Matters.
Building science is the study of how buildings perform as interconnected systems, helping us understand, identify, and control heat, air, moisture, durability, energy use, comfort, and indoor environmental quality. This matters because problems like uncontrolled moisture, mold, poor indoor air quality, and comfort issues are rarely isolated. They are usually symptoms of something deeper happening within the building.
At ACC Building Performance, we do not look at those symptoms in isolation. We look at the building as a system, trace problems back to their source, and help you understand what’s going on, why it’s happening, and what you need to do to solve it.
